Online Casinos in New Jersey Post Nearly $187 Million in Revenue in June 2024

According to data released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, online casinos in the state generated $186.8 million in June 2024. This was the fourth-best month ever recorded in New Jersey online gambling history, which has been going on since 2013.
With six months of data in the books in 2024, New Jersey online casinos have surpassed $1 billion and stand at $1.13 billion.
The $186.8 million posted in June 2024 represents a 25.2% increase year-over-year, and the state is on pace for a 21% year-over-year improvement when comparing 2024 to 2023. The state posted $1.9 billion in revenue in all of 2023, and now at $1.13 billion, they’re nearly 60% of the way there through six months.
Online casinos contributed $28 million in tax revenue in June, bringing the total to nearly $170 million on the year. In 2023, the state brought in $288.5 million in taxes via online casinos,; in 2024, they’re 41% of the way there.
This month comes after the best month in New Jersey history was recorded in March 2024, and the second-best came in May.
Over the last nine months, online casinos have set monthly revenue records five times, including April 2024, which had $187.9 million, the third-best month.
