USA edged the Netherlands 2-1 after extra time in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup third-place play off match.

Allyson Sentnor gave the Americans a 10th-minute lead in front of over 11,000 at the Estadio El Campín in Bogotá, Colombia.

The Dutch were back on level terms before the half-hour mark, Robine Lacroix with the equaliser.
