Bella Hadid makes epic return to the runway for Saint Laurent after two-year hiatus: ‘The queen is back’

Bella’s back, baby!

Bella Hadid made her triumphant return to the runway on Tuesday, strutting her stuff at Saint Laurent’s spring 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week.

She was styled in a black suit with a white button-up shirt, black tie and oversized glasses, her hair pulled back into a simple bun. Other models wore similarly androgynous looks, while some were dressed in colorful, ruffled skirts and lacy blouses.

It’s the first time the 27-year-old model has graced the catwalk since October 2022, before she took a break from the modeling industry to focus on her health and control her Lyme disease.

Fans were overjoyed to see Bella back on the runway, with one tweeting, “Mother, Bella Hadid, is mothering the runway again.”

Another wrote, “IT’S REAL!!! … THE QUEEN IS BACKKK.”

Since her last runway, Hadid has cut out alcohol and focused on her wellness drink brand, Kin Euphorics. In August 2023, she shared a health update with fans, opening up about her “painful” battle with Lyme disease and “years of invisible suffering” before declaring she would be “back” when she was “ready.”

She teased her return to the fashion industry later that month, and completely transformed her look for an AI-inspired Marc Jacobs campaign that launched shortly after. Her first magazine cover post-break followed in January 2024.

It’s been an eventful year for the younger Hadid sister. She launched not only a new relationship — with cowboy Adan Banuelos — but also a new business, with fragrance line Orebella dropping in February.

In May, she made her first red carpet appearance since 2023 at the Cannes Film Festival, appropriately choosing Saint Laurent for the major moment. The brunette beauty reclaimed her title as the queen of Cannes the next day in a backless silver Dsquared2 gown, and made a political statement in support of Palestine in a Michael and Hushi keffiyeh dress.

She’s not the only one back in the saddle, either; Hadid and her beau shut down the streets of NYC during New York Fashion Week earlier this month, staging a horseback demonstration in celebration of “Window to the West,” Banuelos’ new series of short films.

We expect much more to come from the sorely missed star.
