Tom Cruise is leaving the UK after five years, to return to home in the US

Tom Cruise is reportedly moving back to the US after living in the UK for five years. All these past years, he was busy working on Mission: Impossible films that are usually shot in the UK.

Now that work on Mission Impossible franchise films is over, Tom is excited to go back to the United States and meet his son and friends. He will also be inspecting his apartment in Florida which had been swept up in Hurricane Milton. Lots of properties and lives have been lost in Florida owing to the hurricane.

Tom Cruise enjoys living in both the UK and US

Meanwhile, Tom enjoys his time in the UK too. In addition to working in his films, Tom likes his slow life in the UK. The Hollywood star is said to have invested heavily in a penthouse in central London.

Sources close to Tom have said on multiple occasions that Tom “has made the UK his home for five years and he absolutely loves it here.”

Tom made Britain his base during the filming of Dead Reckoning Parts I and II. Cruise told The Sun earlier, “I spend a lot of time in Britain, and that’s not just for work reasons. I just love being here.”

Tom was last seen boarding his helicopter at Battersea, heading back to the US. A source close to the actor told The Sun, “There is no doubt he’ll be back at some point when he greases the wheels for the next Mission: Impossible outing, but Tom is looking forward to returning to the US to be closer to his son Connor and his friends.”

“The transformation has been pretty incredible – England has done him and his wider reputation the world of good, and he’s so much happier for it.”
