Century Casinos’ two openings amid quarterly results
Publishing its quarterly results for the period ending September 30, Century Casinos gave an update on two venues which are now open for business.
The company reopened its Wroclaw casino in a new location in October, while the new casino and hotel in Caruthersville, Missouri opened on November 1.
Net operating revenue for the quarter was US$155.7m, a decrease of 3 per cent against Q3 2023, while earnings from operations were 24 per cent up against the previous year, at $17.9m.
Adjusted EBITDAR was $32.9m, a decrease of 1 per cent.
“This past Friday, we opened the new land-based casino and hotel in Caruthersville, Missouri,” said Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger, co-CEOs of Century Casinos. “We are excited for the potential of this new casino and hotel to expand our customer base further into Arkansas and the north Memphis area of Tennessee.
“We have also reopened the Wroclaw casino in Poland. This will decrease the disruptions we have had in our Poland segment.”
