United States Sports Academy: Coffee with a Coach – Sarah Peoples

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – We went to The United States Sports Academy and sat down with Sarah Peoples.

Ms. Sarah Peoples serves as an undergraduate academic advisor and Athletic Compliance Officer at USSA. In this role, she ensures that the institution’s athletic programs adhere to all relevant regulations and standards. Ms. Peoples brings valuable experience as an undergraduate academic advisor and educator, where she guides students in their academic pursuits and personal development. Her background in education has equipped her with a deep understanding of student needs, further enhancing her commitment to supporting student-athletes’ success both academically and athletically.

Prior to joining USSA, Peoples was the Director of Athletics at North Mobile Christian School from 2017 to 2019, where she also coached volleyball and girls’ soccer. She then served as an assistant coach for varsity girls’ basketball and both junior varsity and varsity girls’ soccer at Cottage Hill Christian Academy in Mobile, Alabama, from 2019 to 2021. As a student-athlete, Peoples played women’s soccer at the University of Mobile. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Mobile and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Coker University in 2022.

United States Sports Academy offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs as well as certificate programs.
