Thunderkick obtains Danish licence for igaming content

Thunderkick will be able to distribute its online casino games in Denmark from the start of next year.




The igaming supplier has picked up a B2B licence from Spillemyndigheden, the Danish gambling regulator.

The accreditation runs from January 1, 2025, through to 2029.

The company said it is among the first to be granted the newly introduced licence.

“Obtaining a B2B licence has been a focus since the Danish Gambling Authority announced the new regulations earlier this year, and our application’s success emphasises the quality of Thunderkick products and our unwavering commitment to adhering to consistently updating regulations,” said Wan Kim, chief compliance officer at Thunderkick.

“The licence will facilitate our continued growth in Denmark, where some of the country’s biggest operators offer our unique content to local players.”
