College Football Playoff selection show 2024: Time, TV channel, live stream to watch final CFP rankings, bracket reveal | Sporting News

The bracket for the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff will be revealed on Sunday during the CFP selection show.

The field will consist of the five highest-rated conference champions and the next seven highest-ranked at-large teams. In terms of seeding, the four highest-ranked conference champions will receive a first-round bye. Meanwhile, seeds five through eight will serve as hosts for the four first-round matchups.

Many bubble teams, like Alabama and Miami (Fla.), are awaiting Sunday’s reveal with bated breath. Others, like Texas and Penn State, are merely waiting to see which teams they will face.

The final College Football Playoff rankings reveal will take place on Sunday, Dec. 8, beginning at noon and ending at 4 p.m. ET.
