WWE Universe Pours Their Heart Out in Support of Inaugural Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green | WWE News – Times of India

The WWE Universe saw the company crowning their inaugural Women’s United States Champion at Saturday Night’s Main Event last night. Fans can be harsh critics at times especially when things don’t work out in their favor. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case this time, as fans have been pouring out support for Chelsea Green, who won the title after defeating Michin.
Chelsea Green picked up the much needed win, especially against Michin, against whom she had recently lost a feud, which culminated in a brutal dumpster match. With the Stamford-based promotion finally getting a new mid-card Championship, it’ll be worth seeing how Chelsea Green carries the title forward, especially with the fans on social media behind her.

WWE Fans dub Chelsea Green’s Women’s United States Victory as “well deserved”

Mia Yim aka Michin and Chelsea Green’s match was a spectacular one and fans have had nothing but good things to say about the bout. While Bayley was a favorite going into the championship tournament, Chelsea Green could do with the win, considering that she’s one of the newer wrestlers in the company.
A fan expressed their joy over the new champion, but also added that their perception of Chelsea Green was rather bad when she had made her debut at the 2023 Royal Rumble. They said, “when she returned at RR ’23, I rolled my eyes. But she won me over in the weeks that followed and I jumped up & celebrated when she won tonight.”
Another individual added, “ When I first heard about the WWE Women’s United States Championship the name that came to mind was @ImChelseaGreen. When she won I teared up.”

To commemorate the victory, a third fan indulged in the idea of a new championship title which looked a lot like the OG WWE Divas title. They said, “In Honor of @ImChelseaGreen being the first ever Women’s United States Championship. Here is a Concept Belt since she stated she wanted to bring back the Divas Title”

The live audience was also quite loud when Green got the 1-2-3 in the ring during the event. And considering the reaction from the crowd, it’s easy to say that she’s a favorite, heading into her title reign with the blue brand.
A different individual called her Triple H’s best hire in the WWE since Bronson Reed, congratulating her on her victory against Michin at Saturday Night’s Main Event. They said, “Chelsea Green deserves it, because she has LEGITIMATELY been Triple H’s best rehire besides Bronson Reed & Michin.I hope she has a long reign with the Women’s United States Championship.” In fact, even the game had strong words of appreciation for the new WWE Women’s United States Champion.

Heading into the new year, it’ll be interesting to see who becomes the #1 Contender for the title and how Chelsea Green defends her newly won title.
