Banged-up Breece Hall reveals status for Jets vs. Seahawks | Sporting News

Breece Hall’s fantasy football investors won’t have to scramble for a last-minute addition in Week 13.

The New York Jets‘ starting running back banged up his knee during the Week 11 loss to the Indianapolis Colts and the effects lingered beyond the bye. On Friday, Hall was upgraded to a full participant at practice.

“Breece Hall is trending in the right direction, so we’re hopeful he’ll play,” said Jets’ interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich.

The 23-year-old Hall was held out of Wednesday’s practice before returning in a limited capacity on Thursday. Despite being a full-go on Friday, he’s officially listed as questionable to play when the Jets host the Seattle Seahawks on December 1 at MetLife Stadium.

“I feel fine. Practiced today and everything. I felt good, not sore or nothing,” said Hall on Friday.

The Jets’ RB1 sounded like someone intending to carry a full workload on Sunday.

“Tweaked my knee like the second quarter, played through it. Then, rehab last week and was still feeling sore, so they let me have a few rest days. Then, attacked it today and feel good,” said Hall.

On field for 84 percent of the offensive snaps, Hall totaled 121 yards from scrimmage against the Colts on November 17. He faces a somewhat favorable matchup against Seattle, which permits 4.7 yards per rush attempt (23rd in NFL).

Fourth-round rookie Braelon Allen has backed Hall up throughout the season, averaging 6.4 touches per appearance.

The Jets (3-8) and Seahawks (6-5) will kick off at 1 p.m. ET in East Rutherford.
