BC.Game owner threatened with €840,000 KSA sanction
The operator of BC.Game has been reprimanded in the Netherlands for offering illegal online casino gaming.
The Dutch regulator, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), said BlockDance could face a maximum fine of €840,000 if it does not cease the violation.
A re-inspection by the KSA after its initial probe into the company found that, having blocked access to Dutch players, the BC.Game site was once again available for use in the Netherlands.
BlockDance has four weeks from the penalty payment order to stop offering online casino gaming in the country before it receives sanctions of €280,000 per week, up to a maximum of €840,000.
“On the sites investigated it was possible to create a player account, make deposits and participate in the illegal gambling offered,” the KSA said.
“No technical measures were taken on the sites to prevent participation from the Netherlands.”
