The Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey slot is the latest chapter in the Rakin’ Bacon series, first released in 2018 by developer AGS (American Gaming Systems), a New York-based iGaming supplier with land-based casino roots. The newest iteration in the popular storyline features the legendary golden pig Cornsquealius, who departs for new adventures in ancient Greece.
The slot uses a 3×5 grid, and the layout can grow to 6×5 during a bonus feature with 7,776 ways to win. There are four jackpots integral to Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey. The graphics are immersive, and the game is mobile-friendly.

Although this is the first omnichannel launch of Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey in the Wolverine State, it’s not the first such approach nationally. Caesars Palace, another Michigan online casino, simultaneously debuted this slot in its New Jersey app and Atlantic City land-based venues in February.
BetMGM Leverages the Omnichannel Experience to Connect With Players
The omnichannel strategy implemented by BetMGM is another step towards improving the brand’s position in Michigan. BetMGM lost its leadership role in the Great Lake State’s iGaming market over the previous two months to competitor FanDuel. BetMGM held the crown for 38 consecutive months. The revenue margin between BetMGM and FanDuel in April is not significant, with the latter beating BetMGM by $900K.
BetMGM already offers one of the largest lobbies in the state and distributes a variety of Michigan online casino promotions. The exclusive launch of Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey at BetMGM’s retail and online casino will enhance the brand status by focusing on an omnichannel experience.
