Breeze Airways on Tuesday announced it will begin offering nonstop service from South Bend International Airport to Washington Dulles International Airport in November.

The news comes just over a month after the Salt Lake City, Utah-based airline announced plans for new service to Orlando and Fort Myers in Florida.

“Washington D.C. has been one of our targeted destinations as there is considerable demand from our region,” South Bend International Airport CEO Mike Daigle said in a news release. “We are thrilled that Breeze, the newest airline to serve SBN, is adding a third destination from our region.”

The new service to Washington D.C. will begin Nov. 8—just one day after the new service to Orlando begins—and run Monday and Friday. The airline said one-way fares will start at $49.

“After announcing service from South Bend in the last month, we are back with more,” Breeze CEO David Neeleman said. “South Bend has never seen service to Washington Dulles and connecting the city with the nation’s capital will no doubt be a positive impact for the community.”

The service to Fort Myers is scheduled to start on Feb. 5, 2025.

South Bend will be Breeze’s second city it operates in Indiana. Last November, the airline announced service to Orlando from Evansville Regional Airport, which began in February.
