Elijah Arroyo: We’re just playing confident

During Saturday’s broadcast, Former NFL executive Louis Riddick called Elijah Arroyo a potential first rounder. Arroyo met with reporters to discuss his progress and the Virginia Tech game:

On his preparation: We’re working together – us, the coaches, the quarterback, everybody’s working together – to do what’s best for our offense. My body feels good. I’m ready for this week, ready for Friday.

On the running game: It’s been a big emphasis this week to really pay attention to our details on the run game. We’re coming into ACC play, and Virginia Tech is a good team. We’ve gotta be on our P’s and Q’s if we want to execute the way we want to.

On how to balance celebrating without being penalized: We’re just playing confident. That’s how we played all spring. That’s how we played all fall camp. We’re going to keep doing what we’re doing as long as we keep it somewhat disciplined. Not getting any flags or anything dumb after the play. But, yeah, we’re going to continue to keep doing what we’re doing.
