Former GiG SVP Jonathan Gauci launches casino platform Elantil

Jonathan Gauci, former SVP of engineering at Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), has unveiled Elantil, a new casino platform that promises to address long-standing industry challenges.

With over 22 years of experience in the iGaming sector, Gauci (pictured) aims to redefine how operators manage growth, scalability, and innovation in their operations.

Having joined GiG in 2019, Gauci played a key role in developing six successful online casino platforms. Now, with Elantil, he seeks to empower operators with greater control and flexibility.

“It was time to put my accumulated expertise to good use by developing an all-new solution that addresses the issues operators face with their current providers,” said Gauci, who will also serve as Elantil’s CEO.

Innovation at the core

Elantil’s platform offers user-friendly tools to enhance operator autonomy and encourage third-party innovation, allowing businesses to retain control of their unique selling points.

“With Elantil, operators can achieve fast market entry, setting them up for success from the outset,” Gauci said.

Certified and compliant with international regulations, the platform promises “ethically sound and legally secure operations” for a global clientele.

Built from the ground up, it combines cutting-edge technology with a customer-focused design to ensure long-term scalability and sustainability.

A team of experts

Gauci is not venturing into this alone. He has partnered with fellow Maltese industry professionals, including co-founders John Debono, Clyde Vassallo, and Shaun Tabone, to establish Elantil.

The company has also hinted at upcoming announcements of high-profile executive hires.

Before founding Elantil, Gauci held leadership roles across several prominent companies.

Prior to joining GiG, he served as CTO at Cerberus Technology, overseeing technical innovation and architecture.

His career also includes significant contributions at Betsson Group and NetRefer, where he honed his expertise in iGaming solutions.

Elantil has been designed as a scalable, operator-centric platform that addresses pain points Gauci observed during his career.

With its focus on flexibility, innovation, and compliance, the product aims to set a new standard for online casino platforms.

“I’m excited about launching Elantil and look forward to sharing more big announcements in the coming weeks,” Gauci said.
