GAME DAY | U.S. Meets Canada In Under-18 Women’s Worlds Gold Medal Game

The U.S. holds an 8-5-4-5 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record all time against Canada at the Under-18 Women’s World Championship. The U.S. has outscored Canada, 62-48 in those 22 meetings. 

LAST TIME AGAINST CANADA 

The U.S. and Canada last met in U18 Women’s Worlds play in the preliminary round, on January 11, 2023, of the 2023 IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship. Canada won that meeting, 3-1.

The U.S. has skated in 16 of the 17 all time Under-18 Women’s World Championship gold medal games staged, holding a 6-3-3-3 record. Including today’s meeting, the U.S. has faced Canada in 14 of those 16 appearances. Team USA holds a 4-3-3-3 advantage against Canada in gold medal games.
