GTA Online Casino Heist Disabled Due To Exploit – RockstarINTEL
Rockstar Games have disabled the ability to plan The Diamond Casino Heist in GTA Online. This is a temporary solution to a major exploit occurring in-game right now for PC players.
The inability to start planning The Diamond Casino Heist in GTA Online was revealed by Rockstar insider Tez2. He took to Twitter and shared the change Rockstar made in GTA Online’s backend. He said that “Casino Heist Planning has been temporarily disabled on PC to address a critical exploit.”
This means players on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 will be able to plan The Diamond Casino Heist and are not vulnerable to the exploit.
Many fans love to play The Diamond Casino Heist in GTA Online so it is a real shame to see it “removed” from play even for just a few days or weeks. Rockstar may have to release a patch that players will need to download and that might not be a speedy process. Thankfully the latest event week does not have any bonuses and such linked to it. Setting up an Arcade property was also disabled as part of measures to combat the exploit.
Given the apparent severity of the exploit, it is understandable why Rockstar took strong action against the Casino Heist which seems to have been the root of said exploit.
