Hard Rock Casino NL partners with BetComply for Dutch licence

BetComply worked with the local regulator to secure the licence.

Hard Rock Casino NL has secured a Dutch gaming licence via a partnership with BetComply.

Hard Rock Casino NL’s operator, iCasino, operates the brand under a brand licence agreement with Hard Rock, initially launching the platform in early July. The company worked alongside BetComply to secure a local licence from the Dutch gaming authority, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), in May, with the two now set to continue their cooperation.

On the licence, iCasino CEO Paul Strikers said: “It’s hugely exciting to bring such a globally renowned brand to the Dutch market for the first time. We understood early on in the process that operator compliance needed to be one of our highest priorities, and that’s why we enlisted the help of BetComply and its unparalleled expertise in the Netherlands.”

BetComply Chief Compliance Officer Mike de Graaff added: “The Netherlands market has attracted some huge international brands over recent months, underlining the opportunities on offer for those who build a deep understanding of their regulatory obligations … We’ll continue to support our partners, including iCasino, as market conditions evolve.”

BetComply is not the only brand to have partnered with Hard Rock Casino NL. Since its launch in July, it has partnered with Stakelogic, integrating supplier’s suite of online slots as well as its Chroma Key Studio technology, allowing for customisation of Stakelogic’s live casino games.

Hard Rock Casino NL also partnered with Gaming Realms and Bragg Gaming, integrating a range of Gaming Realms games and Bragg Gaming’s player account management (PAM) software onto its platform.
