Here’s how to nominate your local school for a state-of-the-art fitness center
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Three Hawaii elementary or middle schools will get state-of-the-art fitness centers thanks to a national campaign aimed at promoting healthy activity for kids.
Jake “Body by Jake” Steinfield, chairman of the National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils, selected Hawaii for the organization’s 2024 “Don’t Quit!” campaign.
Under the program, schools can be nominated to get the equipment.
Nominations are due by March 29 and can be made by clicking here.
The campaign’s goal is to install fitness centers in schools in all 50 states.
