The 2024 Paralympic Games will be held in Paris from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8. The United States’ best track and field athletes will look to book their tickets to the Summer Games as they compete in the USA Paralympic track and field trials in Florida.
The trials will take place at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, Florida. Twenty-time Paralympic medalist Tatyana McFadden is aiming for her sixth Paralympic team, competing in multiple wheelchair events.
Three-time Tokyo Paralympic gold medalist Brittni Mason and 2023 T63high jump world champion Erza Frech are also expected to headline Team USA.
Four-time world champion Jaydin Blackwell will compete for a spot on his first-ever Paralympic team in the T38 classification. Noelle Malkamaki will also look to book her first Paralympics’ berth after recently claiming the world title and setting a new world record in the shot put F46.
