Injury Forces Top WWE Star To Bow Out From Women’s United States Championship Tournament | WWE News – Times of India

Last week’s WWE SmackDown saw Jade Cargill being spread eagled on top of the windshield of a car following a nasty attack. While the perpetrators of the attack are unknown, it’s believed that Raquel Rodrigues and Liv Morgan were behind this deadly attack on the wrestler who was supposed to be a part of the 5v5 Women’s Match at WWE Survivor Series: War Games.
With her injury seeing her out of action for the time being, WWE has confirmed that Jade Cargill will not be a part of the United States Championship Tournament that is currently underway.

Who is taking Jade Cargill’s Spot at the Women’s United States Championship Tournament in WWE?

As of now, as with every tournament in the WWE, replacements usually do not happen and the fighter who they were set to fight will automatically advance to the next round. However, since this was a triple threat match, Jade Cargill will be replaced by Lash Legend from Meta Four.
Lash Legend will be facing off against Michin and Piper Niven. Who ever wins this bout will advance to the semi finals to face the winner amongst Naomi, Tiffany Stratton and Elektra Lopez.
On the other hand, Bayley and Chelsea Greene have already advanced to the Semi-finals and will face off soon to determine the person who advances to the finals. This first ever tournament for the Women’s US Championship in WWE is heating up and the company will crown its first ever champion before 2024 concludes.

As for Jade Cargill returning to the ring, it’s currently unknown when she will be back, and it’s believed that the extent of her injuries are grave and will be putting her out of action for a while now.
With that said, if she is indeed out from programming for a considerable amount of time then Bianca Belair will have to forfeit the Tag Team titles for the time being, which is rather disappointing considering how strong their title run was. It will be worth seeing how soon she’s able to return to the ring, but it’s worth noting that once she’s back, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will be feuding with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. This could add to their problems considering Rhea Ripley isn’t done with Liv Morgan yet.
