Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire are in contention to play some part in Man Utd’s pre-season friendly against Rangers after their return to training at Old Trafford.
Both players missed out on the opening 1-0 defeat against Rosenborg in Norway to start United’s summer preparations, but the Red Devils have confirmed they could be in line to feature against the Scottish club this weekend.
McTominay returned to Carrington on Wednesday after being given extra time off following his exploits with Scotland at Euro 2024. Maguire did not make the trip to Germany with England, after being ruled out by injury, but he is also back in training.
