The press tour for It Ends With Us has garnered a mix of both buzz and backlash, and actress Blake Lively has managed to make an enemy out of Meghan McCain. The former co-host of The View took to her Citizen McCain podcast to express her chagrin toward Lively, 36, and how she’s promoted the movie.

On the podcast, McCain, 39, criticized Lively’s responses to the press, and how she’s been recommending seeing the movie as a fun way to spend a day with fellow women friends.

“Vilifying the women who put so much of their heart and soul into making this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems counterproductive and detracts from what this film is about,” Sklenar wrote. “It is, in fact, the opposite of the point.”
