Michigan RB Kalel Mullings condemns Ohio State after Wolverines upset, have postgame brawl with Buckeyes in all-time edition of ‘The Game’ | Sporting News

Michigan RB Kalel Mullings wasn’t impressed with Ohio State showing fight after the final whistle of a 13-10 Wolverines win over the No. 2-ranked Buckeyes. Mullings called OSU players out for not knowing how to lose during the postgame interview on FOX after a post-game brawl erupted at midfield.

“Can’t be fighting us after the game. You had a whole 4 quarters/60 minutes. They gotta learn how to lose…bad for the game, classless in my opinion,” Mullings said on the broadcast.

One could argue that Michigan needs to learn how to win. Head football coach Sherrone Moore taunted the fans after the game and several Wolverines planting the flag should’ve figured the Buckeyes would have a response.

Then again, it’s not as though the Buckeyes’ side was completely blameless. While the players themselves didn’t do anything egregious, well, until engaging physically with the Wolverines, an Ohio State fan spit on Michigan players as they were in the tunnel.

Regardless, Big Blue picked up its biggest win of the season in Columbus during Week 14. Michigan entered as a nearly 20-point favorite but was able to outlast Ohio State in a turnover-heavy defensive battle.

The win will drive momentum for a program that has been on fire since flipping Bryce Underwood from LSU. Truthfully, it doesn’t change much about the College Football Playoff picture, with Ohio State still likely to make it, but Ryan Day remains winless against Michigan.

That fact can haunt him this offseason if his Buckeyes don’t overcome this adversity and finally bring another championship to Columbus.
