Mike Rulli sworn in to U.S. House

U.S. REP. MIKE RULLI

WASHINGTON, D.C. –Congressman Mike Rulli, R-Ohio, was sworn in Friday as a member of the United States House of Representatives for the 119th Congress after a victory over Democrat Michael Kripchak on Nov. 5.

“Republicans earned an overwhelming mandate in November, claiming both chambers of Congress and the Presidency,” Rulli said. “I’m honored to join the 119th Congress and get to work advancing President Trump’s agenda and delivering real results for Ohio’s Sixth District.”

The swearing-in marks the beginning of Rulli’s second term, having been elected to serve the remainder of former-rep. Bill Johnson’s vacated term in June. Johnson had stepped down to become president of Youngstown State University.

Rulli will serve on the Committee on Energy & Commerce in the 119th Congress. Ohio’s 6th Congressional District includes the entirety of Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson, Mahoning, Monroe, Noble, and Washington counties, as well as portions of Stark and Tuscarawas counties.

Rullli has district offices in Marietta and Canfield.
