New VIP facility upgrades Paradise Group casino
Integrated resort company Paradise Group is looking to gain an “overwhelming advantage” in attracting VIP customers through an upgrade at one of its properties in Japan.
The new VIP casino facility at Paradise Walkerhill Casino in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, will add 19 new gaming machines.
The casino’s first upgrade work in nine years will make it 17 per cent larger than the previous facility.
Paradise said the new VIP facilities at Casino Walkerhill will help boost sales to KRW22bn (£12.5m) in 2025 and to KRW32bn (£18.2m) in 2026.
“We see this as an important opportunity to secure the hardware necessary to gain an overwhelming advantage as the industry leader and to secure high-roller customers,” said Paradise Group president Choi Jeong-hwan.
“We will also introduce facilities for VIP customers to all branches and upgrade our service standards. We will also aim to shift to smart casinos that apply new digital technology and establish our position as a first mover.”
The new facility is a membership-only space for the top one per cent of VIP customers which features seven private rooms, a lounge and a bar.
The renovation will increase Paradise Casino Walkerhill’s total floor space from around 3,933sq.m to 4,585sq.m.
The casino will have a new total of 112 table games and 213 gaming machines.
Elsewhere, Paradise said it plans to open a new international lounge at Gimpo Airport in October this year to further focus on attracting VIP customers.
