Andrade declares his feud with LA Knight
LA Knight’s United States Championship title defense against Andrade last week was not inherently the result of bad blood between them. But following the match, things have changed. In the September 27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Andrade was in a fight with Carmelo Hayes but Knight interrupted the match which distracted Andrade costing him the win.
Andrade blames Knight for his unexpected interruption in the match as he took to his official X (formerly Twitter) to share his displeasure against the US Champ. “First you refused to shake my hand like a real man and champion @RealLAKnight !!” Andrade wrote on X referring to his last week’s defeat against Knight where the champion hesitated a handshake and offered a fist bump instead. Andrade seemingly took it as a sign of disrespect.
“Second you interfered with my business and because of you I couldn’t get the win!! Now we have a problem!! You totally lost MY RESPECT!” Andrade added in his post declaring that his real feud with the Megastar had just begun as he lost the respect for Knight. Another handshake is seemingly off the table as the spark of the new feud of the duo may be a hint from WWE to cook a remarkable storyline for them, potentially Andrade getting another shot at Knight’s title.
