Pennsylvania Online Casino Player Wins 2 Huge Jackpots

An anonymous online casino player from Pennsylvania won two massive jackpots on BetMGM’s Borgata platform in the span of nine months, BetMGM announced Monday.

Both progressive jackpot windfalls came through Bison Fury-branded online slots. The first time around, the player won $1 million on a $10 bet on Aug. 23. Then came a $417,404 score on an $18 wager in May 2024.

“Thanks to Borgata Online for giving me the chance of a lifetime — not once, but twice, to win two big jackpots,” the player, who hails from Drexel Hill, said in a press release.

“Winning a million-dollar jackpot is incredible,” said Angus Nisbet, BetMGM’s vice president of gaming. “Two progressive jackpots this size in less than a year has never happened in the history of BetMGM.”

Meanwhile, in neighboring New Jersey, the progressive jackpot pool currently sits at $5.2 million, which BetMGM says is the largest jackpot in the history of North American iGaming.
