Round1 Bowling & Arcade coming to Chandler Fashion Center

PHOENIX– Round1 Bowling & Arcade, a multi-entertainment facility chain, is soon coming to Chandler Fashion Center Mall.

The new Round1 location will be in the former Sears location that closed in October 2018.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our third Arizona location in the Chandler area,” Shane Kaji, executive vice president at Round1, said in a news release. “We want to provide endless fun and help our guests create special memories. With all of our different activities, there is something for everyone in the community.”

What amenities will be at Round1 in Chandler?

Originated in Japan, Round1 has expanded into the United States with over 50 locations for all ages. The store at Chandler Fashion Center, which will be 65,000 square feet of space, will have  bowling lanes, arcade games, billiards and party rooms.

“Chandler Fashion Center continues its strong momentum with this significant lease that will take over the lower level of the former Sears space,” Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke said in a news release. “We are thrilled to bring more unique experiential opportunities to Chandler and we believe Round1 will be a big hit in the community for years to come.”

The arcade will include exclusive game cabinets and crane machines imported from Japan and American games. The new location will have concession stands, which will feature pizza, burgers, wings, and other appetizers, as well as Japanese food items such as takoyaki, gyoza, and mochi ice cream.

“Round1 is a terrific addition to Chandler Fashion Center, which is experiencing tremendous momentum thanks to its powerful collection of retailers and restaurants, including Arizona’s only SCHEELS sporting goods store that brings enthusiastic shoppers in from all over the state,” said General Manager of Chandler Fashion Center Monica Freeman said in a news release.
