The 25 best heart hospitals in the United States

Cleveland Clinic is once again the No. 1 hospital in the United States for cardiology, heart surgery and vascular surgery, according to new rankings published by U.S. News and World Report. The Ohio facility has held that top position since 2020.

NYU Langone Hospitals landed in the No. 2 spot on the list, up from No. 5 in 2023. Mayo Clinic and Mount Sinai Hospital came in at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively, the same positions they held in 2023. New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia and Cornell came in at No. 5, up from No. 6 one year ago.

These rankings, released each summer, are designed to help patients find the best hospital possible when seeking care.

“Choosing the right hospital to match your needs shouldn’t be a guessing game,” Ben Harder, chief of health analysis and managing editor at U.S. News, said in a statement. “The 2024-2025 edition of Best Hospitals provides patients and their families clear, data-driven insights on hospital performance and empowers Americans to choose the facility best suited to their specific health care needs.”
