Thunderkick expands into Colombia through Luckia deal

Thunderkick has entered the Colombian market through a partnership with Luckia, expanding its presence in Latin America.

Independent slots studio Thunderkick has expanded its operations in Latin America by entering the Colombian market through a partnership with operator Luckia.

This move marks Thunderkick’s second foray into the region, following its recent entry into Mexico through a deal with RushBet.

Luckia, which received its gaming licence from Colombia’s regulatory body Coljuegos in 2018, will now offer Thunderkick’s portfolio of online casino games to its players.

This includes titles such as Xterminate, Midas Golden Touch 2 and 12 Bolts of Thunder.

Earlier this year, Thunderkick announced its plans to strengthen its market position in Europe and increase its footprint in North and South America.

Mariam Dadosh, Thunderkick Account Manager, said: “Expansion across regulated Latin American markets remains a focal point of Thunderkick’s commercial plans and the arrival in Colombia is evidence of our drive to diversify into new jurisdictions.”

Luckia’s Head of Product, Eloy Fernandez, added: “Thunderkick has been creating unique, immersive games for over a decade and we can’t wait to offer this portfolio to our players.”

This expansion into Colombia follows Thunderkick’s activities in other markets, including a partnership with Paf in Spain, where the company has made its games available to Spanish players.

Earlier this month, Luckia became an official partner of LaLiga in Spain and Mexico, as part of its efforts to enhance brand recognition and reach new audiences in these regions.
