The 2024 U.S. Open kicked off on Monday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City. This year, Coco Guaff and Novak Djokovic, last year’s women’s and men’s singles champions, return to defend their titles. The tournament concludes on Sept. 8.
Along with hosting the best tennis players in the world, the U.S. Open welcomed a series of high-profile stars and A-list celebrities, including Kerry Washington, Vera Wang and Misty Copeland, among others.
Washington opted for a head-to-toe Ralph Lauren look, while Misty Copeland opted for a black-and-white minidress by Dolce & Gabbana. Vera Wang took inspiration from traditional tennis whites for her look, and Katie Couric selected airy attire for her summertime ensemble.
