United States Trade Representative to travel to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to Uzbekistan from 11 to 12 June 2024.
On 11 June, Ambassador Tai will meet with Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. She will meet with Uzbekistan’s First Assistant to the President Saida Mirziyoyeva.
Ambassador Tai will meet with Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev and Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov.
Katherine Tai will meet with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction Behzod Musaev.
Ambassador Tai will also meet with Uzbek Forum members and International Labor Organization (ILO) trained labor monitors.
On 12 June, Ambassador Tai will be in Samarkand. She will meet with Samarkand’s Governor Erkinjon Turdimov.
Ambassador Tai will also participate in cultural site visits to major historical landmarks.
