Did you ever get the feeling that Ronald McDonald’s doesn’t like the United States?
Sure, the fast food giant regifted the McRib, but when you look at what Canada got for Christmas, it makes you feel like we got Scrooged.
McDonald’s gives Canada a Grinch Christmas
According to the Instagram account @snackolator, Canada got the best Christmas presents this season.
McDonald’s in Canada is offering a Grinch-themed menu, which includes:
- Adult Happy Meal: An Extra-Value meal in a Grinch box. The adult “toy” in the meal is either a pair of Grinch socks or a pair of Max the Dog socks.
- Children’s Happy Meal: It’s the traditional Happy Meal and the toy is a Grinch plush ornament.
- Frozen Hot Chocolate McFlurry: It’s a vanilla soft serve mixed with hot cocoa powder and mini marshmallows.
- Green Heart Cookies: While not officially a Grinch item, the heart-shaped cookies do have a holiday.
McDonald’s addition for Canada this year
If this was the only cool item Canada received this year, we would not feel bad, but it wasn’t. Canada also had:
- Orange Cream Pop Shake
- S’mores McFlurry
- Big Arch burger
- Strawberry Cheesecake McFlurry
- Grimace milkshakes
It makes us wonder why McDonald’s doesn’t love us anymore. It also makes you wonder if you know anyone who lives in Detroit, Buffalo or International Falls, Minnesota that can get you the Grinch socks.
