Nvidia Passes Microsoft
Nvidia has taken the crown as the most valuable valuable company in the world from Microsoft after passing Microsoft’s $3.32 trillion market cap on Tuesday. Nvidia’s Hopper chips which are used for training and inferencing some of the world’s biggest AI models, and has made the company a powerhouse for the generative AI boom.

Starlink Unveils Mini-Antenna
SpaceX is releasing its most compact version of Starlink antennas to date, which they’re advertising as a mobile option for its satellite internet customers. The company is offering a “limited number” of the Starlink Mini antennas for $599 each while they’re in early access.

State of the Tech Workforce
CompTIA released it’s State of the Tech Workforce, which is a definitive guide to tech workforce trends in the United States. It includes state by state hiring rates, job listings, earnings and more.

Dell’s Workforce Stays Home
Earlier this year, Dell announced a plan to begin returning its workers to the office. And required them to classify themselves as remote or hybrid. Workers with the hybrid classification are tracked to ensure they’re spending at least 39 days a quarter in the office (3 days a week). Conversely remote workers agreed they can no longer be promoted or hired into new roles within the company.

Cisco Wrap-up
The Cisco Community held their live event (Cisco Live) in Las Vegas June 2-6. Members of their 1.4 million member-strong community traveled to Nevada for Speakers, Meetups and AI Photo opportunities as well as new product demos.
