A long-awaited addition to WWE’s women’s division

There have been rumors among fans for quite some time that a Women’s United States Championship would be created, as most believed the division lacked a secondary championship. WWE had previously pushed forward its women’s division when it created the Women’s Tag Team Championship in 2019.
On the new title, Triple H spoke to its importance, saying, “The women of WWE continue to prove they are the best in the business.” The Women’s United States Championship will be a showcase of their continued effort.
