WWE Smackdown result: Clash for inaugural United States championship booked

The women’s United States Championship final was set after the latest Smackdown episode at the XL Center in Hartford, CT on December 14, Saturday.

New Delhi: The WWE Smackdown episode starts with two semi-finalists for the women’s United States championship. Tiffany Stratton and Michin faced off before their match. The first-ever women’s United States title is on the line and WWE conducted a tournament in which 16 women participated and finally, the semi-finals took on Smackdown episode.

Stratton vs Michin, the first semi-final was underway and Michin started things off with a drop kick. Michin tried to dominate Stratton from the start of the fight as she dropped her outside the ring. Stratton fought back with a double knee attack on Michin. Stratton again tried to hit the same move but Michin moved out of the way.

Michin gave a tornado DDT and went for the cover but Stratton kicked away. Both fighters attacked each other with some nasty moves. Stratton climbed on the rope and attempted a MoonSault on Michin but Michin got her knees up and moved and gave her signature move Eat of Defeat to Stratton and won the fight.

Michin became the first-ever finalist in a women’s United States championship match. In the second semi-final, Bayley took on Chelsea Green. Bayley attacked Green with a Bayley to Belly in the start but Green kicked off and saved herself.

Bayley ran towards Green but Green ducked away and hit her with a splash but Bayley reversed the attack by hitting a clothesline to Green. Bayley was dominating the match but Chelsea made a smart move by distracting the referee and Piper Niven interrupted the match.

With the help of Niven Green won the match against Bayley and qualified for the final of women’s United States Championship match. The final will take place on Saturday Night Main event on December 15, Sunday.
